About Muru journal
I know first hand how confusing and frustrating it can be trying to navigate this complex but lesser-known food intolerance. I finally received a HIT diagnosis in mid-2019 of years of feeling unwell. Diagnosis has been key for me. I have completely changed my diet, lifestyle and how I exercise. And, while I still suffer with symptoms from time to time, at least I know why. Others are not as fortunate.
With so little awareness of HIT, many are suffering in silence, often believing wholeheartedly that there is something seriously wrong with them. This needs to change.
By creating this platform, I hope to start discussions. I am hopeful that we can come together to share stories and experiences, and to provide some relief to those that find themselves lost, confused and alone. Ultimately, my hope is that together, we can raise awareness for HIT.
